In Leading the Learning Revolution I highlight the “Massive” model as one of the (rapidly) emerging business models in the market for lifelong learning. I also emphasize “minimum viable product” (MVP), a concept popularized by Eric Ries, who builds upon the work of Steven Blank. I was thrilled, therefore, to see that Blank has teamed up with Udacity, a start-up focused on delivering massive online course experiences, to offer How to Build a Startup: Lean Launchpad.
You can read more about the course on Steven Blank’s blog, and I’ve also included the teaser video for it below.
This is a great opportunity to see the massive model in action and also learn some concepts that can be of great value in starting and running an education and training business in the new learning landscape.
